Our 8 step approach
to design and development

Step 1
Step 1

Make an enquiry

The ball gets rolling with the all important initial enquiry. We're very approachable and would love to discuss your ideas to see how our services may be of benefit to you. We won't be pushy and we'll only suggest working together if we think we can provide you with what you need.

Step 2
Step 2

Initial proposal and pricing

In an ideal world we'd meet up with you so we could get a feel for each other's businesses. It's important that we feel a good fit in working together. With good information, we'd put together our initial proposal and associated costs as a guideline for further discussion.

Step 3
Step 3

Full project specification

We'll identify your business, design and technical objectives and specify how our solution will deliver on them. If necessary, we'll create sitemaps and wireframes to help identify the key features and how they all fit together. The project specification serves as the backbone of the project.

Step 4
Step 4

Design phase

We'll work up some initial design concepts, tweaking these based on your feedback until we get sign-off on the overall art direction. Then we'll roll this out across the core pages, listening to your feedback and making design tweaks to make your brand work as hard as it can.

Step 5
Step 5

Development phase

Our sites are built using PHP or .NET depending on the platform that's most suited to your needs. All of the HTML and CSS is completed first. This is then integrated with any specific technical systems that you may need such as e-commerce or content management. We'll make staged deliveries so you can check on the progress of the project.

Step 6
Step 6

Testing, feedback, amends

Once we've got a fully functioning product to show you, we'll ask you to fully engage with testing it so we can make any final amendments before the project launch. We''ll also make sure that you know how to use any admin tools so you are confident with any ongoing maintenance or updates.

Step 7
Step 7

Project launch

With the project completed to your satisfaction, the only thing that remains is to release it to your customers. The project launch might link into a wider campaign and we can help to make sure that it all ties together seamlessly and on-time!

Step 8
Step 8

Monitor and improve

The only way to see the impact of the project is to monitor it's performance and effect on your customers. There is always room for improvement, and with real usage data at our disposal, we can help you to identify those areas which could be tweaked to perform better.

Mini-o

Mini-o

Mascot
Yoyo Design

Our very own mascot – Mini-o, who is always ready to help us get the Yoyo message out to the masses. In his own words,

"My work explores the relationship between postmodern discourse and UFO sightings. With influences as diverse as Kafka and Roy Lichtenstein, new combinations are synthesised from both orderly and random structures. As spatial replicas become frozen through frantic and academic practice, the viewer is left with a statement of the undefined of our condition."

Moving stuff, Mini-o.
